Marji Grubic

Marji Grubic specializes in designing and implementing employer-sponsored health plans and employee benefits for small, medium, and large businesses. As an insurance advisor, she works carefully with each client from the initial consultation to employee communications’ meetings for both new and renewal accounts. In addition, Marji is skilled at implementing executive and individual life, disability, retirement, 401 (k) plans and deferred compensation for business owners, key staff, and individuals. In 1989 Marji started her sales career with MDIPA (now a division of United Healthcare) where she quickly excelled as a top producer. In 1992, she dramatically increased group benefit sales and became a partner within a few years. She continues to manage employee benefits, cafeteria plans, as well as retirement plans for 300 local, regional, and multi-state companies. Marji graduated from Virginia Tech in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Professional and community organizations are a large part of Marji’s week. She actively serves on Anthem’s Regional and State Broker Panels, United Healthcare’s Broker Advisory Board as well as ad hoc committees as requested. She is active in numerous Herndon, Virginia, community, youth, and sports organizations. Among her many achievements are designations as a Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) and a Chartered Benefit Consultant (CBC) to market and design Health Savings Account and Health Reimbursement Account benefit plans. A second-generation Washingtonian, Marji and her husband reside in the Herndon/Reston area. They attend soccer, football, basketball, and rugby games supporting their three active sons and the Washington Redskins.
